How it works?

Round 1 - Multiple Choice QuestionsOnline registration is mandatory. Solve 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQ) based on Ethical Hacking Fundamentals in 30 Minutes. The combined scores of MCQ should be above 40% to go Round 2.

Round 2 - Ethical Hacking Basics Assessment

  • Team Formation: Assemble a team with students who cleared Round 1.
  • Team Composition: Maximum of 3 members.
  • On-Site Competition: Dive into a 45-minute Ethical Hacking challenge at Livewire centre.
  • Challenge: Engage in ethical hacking tasks in a secured stimulation environment.
  • Selection: The best scoring team will advance to the Finals.
  • A participation certificate will be given to all round 2 qualifying teams

Final Round : Ethical Hacking Advanced Assessment

  • This is an On-ground event, and the venue will be announced shortly.
  • It will be a 6-hour Complete Capture the Flag (CTF) tasks Challenge that will need to be completed within that time frame.
  • You will get a chance to present your CTF tasks to a panel of industry experts.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be notified, and prizes will be distributed on the same day.

Instructions for Round 1:

  • Assessment Duration: 30 Min
  • Total Questions: 30
  • You can attempt the assessment anytime within the provided assessment window.
  • Please ensure you complete the assessment in one sitting as the timer won't stop once you start.

Eligibility & Terms and Conditions:

  • Students currently residing in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Maharashtra from any branch/ discipline pursuing a full-time IT degree and graduating in 2024, 2025 and 2026
  • College / University ID card is mandatory
  • The top 3 candidates for Cybertrail'24, will be determined by the cumulative scores of MCQs and coding rounds and therefore will receive prize Money
  • Scoring will be done automatically based on efficiency, memory efficiency, logical correctness, and semantic analysis.
  • The right to authorize or limit participation is at the sole discretion of Livewire.
